The St Helena Sail launches from the Manly Harbour Boat Ramp next to the Royal Queensland Yacht Club. There is ample parking and a jetty but very little beach area consisting mainly of rock.

Use caution when sailing out of Manly Boat Harbour as there is a great deal of traffic in the channels.

The sail itself is worth the effort with a stop off at St Helena. Aim for the right of the big jetty and you will find a good beach area.

When sailing North of the Island, keep an eye out for shallow reefs. They are well marked.

Follow the course map home which goes between St Helena and Mud Island.
